He was noted for riding a gold plated bicycle in the 2005 X-Games, reportedly worth $7500. He also has his own PlayStation 2 video game. Over the years, Mirra has had sponsorship deals with GT Bicycles, Recarco, Monster Energy, Nike, Puma, Maxxis Tires, Bell helmets, Subaru, and Snafu. For two seasons he was the host of MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge and was the subject of in multiple video games series and appeared on television shows such as the Today Show, the Late Show with David Letterman, and Punk'd. Mirra was sponsored by Haro bikes for many years until he eventually took his expertise into business when he started his own bike company. Dave also held the honor of medaling in each X Games from 1995 to 2009, minus 2006. His record was broken by Bob Burnquist in 2013. At one point during his career, he held the record for winning the most X-Games medals. Still considered one of the greats, Mirra was known for his explosive performances on the track.ĭave Mirra had a net worth of $15 million. I don't know what the labelling rules are for "Murano glass" as it's all purported to be "genuine Murano glass," but I do know there are cheaper knock offs that might be made in Murano but are not of the same quality. As we only had 2 days in Venice and we were ther on Weds. We just got back from Venice and I was determined to buy something in Murano glass for my niece's wedding present for later that week in Italy.
